Our Philosophy

We believe every person deserves to be heard, respected, and taken seriously.

Our Story

High Vital Society began with a question I could no longer ignore:

What if feeling better required us to look more deeply?

After more than 25 years of caring for patients, I had come to understand that the whole story often revealed more than any single test. When people felt heard, when their concerns were taken seriously, and when I became curious about the life surrounding the body, patterns emerged. I stopped being satisfied with the basics: eat better, exercise more, sleep more, or take the prescription. I began looking more deeply at hormones, metabolism, nutrition, movement, recovery, stress, environment, relationships, and purpose. I pursued advanced clinical education, including training in peptide therapeutics through the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, and became increasingly discerning about both conventional and emerging approaches to health. I came to believe that laboratory values are information, not identity, and that a person’s report of their own experience must be taken seriously.

My own life deepened that understanding. I am a third-generation nurse who was raised to “eat real food,” and I fell in love with nutrition as a new nurse because I discovered how complex it truly was. Movement evolved throughout my life, from childhood skiing, soccer, and swimming to running, yoga, triathlon training, scuba diving, golf, and sailing. When I decided to lose weight, I lost 75 pounds and kept it off. When I later focused on restoring the health of my hair, I discovered again that no single supplement could do the work of an entire system. I began growing food through hydroponics and aquaponics, cooking beautiful meals, and studying the conditions that allow living things to thrive. Again and again, I encountered the same truth: meaningful change rarely comes from one isolated intervention.

Eventually, my attention expanded into the home. At the encouragement of a dear friend, I discovered small-space design as a way to create peace and bring my inner and outer worlds into greater alignment. Light, natural materials, living plants, beauty, and thoughtful design changed the experience of daily life. Along the way, I partnered with a man who shared that instinct, and he is now my husband. His passion for interior design and his gift for creating custom lighting and furniture from real materials deepened our shared interest in bringing the natural world into the spaces we inhabit. I came to understand that our surroundings are not merely the backdrop to our lives; they participate in shaping us.

High Vital Society grew from everything I could no longer unsee.

We are often shown the result without being shown the architecture. People who appear effortlessly healthy may have extraordinary levels of strategy, testing, coaching, recovery, advanced therapeutics, medical guidance, carefully designed environments, and disciplined routines behind the scenes. I believe people deserve a trusted health advisor who listens deeply, takes them seriously, recognizes patterns over time, pursues root causes, relieves suffering as quickly as possible, prescribes when appropriate, and continues seeking restoration or cure whenever possible.

This is the work I love: understanding a person deeply, discovering what they are reaching toward, helping shape the conditions that may carry them closer, and, if I am fortunate, witnessing what unfolds.
